Spring Equinox: A Moment to Pause, Breathe & Begin Again

If you've been feeling exhausted, disconnected, or just off—like you're moving through life but not really living it—this is for you.

Maybe you've been running on autopilot, pouring into everyone else but feeling drained yourself. Maybe you're craving a reset, but you don't even know where to begin. If so, you're not alone. And more importantly—you don't have to stay stuck here.

The Spring Equinox is more than just a change in the seasons. It's nature's reminder that renewal is always possible—even when we feel lost in the fog. Even when we doubt ourselves. Even when we're unsure of what comes next.

Right now, the earth is finding balance—equal light and dark—before stepping into brighter days. And just as the seasons shift, so can you.

With the arrival of Aries season, we're also stepping into a time of bold new beginnings. Aries, ruled by fiery Mars, doesn't wait for permission. It moves. It clears space. It ignites a spark where things once felt dim and it brings the message: You are allowed to begin again.

If you're feeling heavy, uncertain, or stuck in cycles that don't serve you, I have a simple ritual to help you release what no longer belongs to you and open yourself to what you truly desire.

It doesn't require hours of reflection. Just a few intentional moments to breathe, reset, and reconnect with you

Spring Equinox Ritual: Releasing & Receiving

What You'll Need:

• A quiet space where you won't be disturbed

• Two pieces of paper

• A black pen

• A blue pen

• A safe way to burn the paper (fireproof bowl, fireplace, or outdoor space)

Note: This ritual harnesses the energy of fire (it is Aries season after all!) but if burning isn't an option for you, that's okay, burying your written word will be just as symbolic.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Set the Intention

Take a deep breath. No pressure, no expectations—just a pause.

You are standing at a threshold—the past behind you, the future ahead. What do you want to leave behind? What do you want to call in?

Set a gentle intention: I am ready to release what no longer serves me, and I am open to receiving all that is meant for me.

2. Write Your Release List

Take the first piece of paper and your black pen. At the top, write: "I am ready to release..."

Now, let it flow. Write down anything that feels heavy—emotionally, physically, mentally, or spiritually. You don't have to overthink it.

Maybe it's self-doubt, burnout, old habits, limiting beliefs, toxic relationships, clutter, or the pressure to always have it together.

When you're done, fold the paper away from you three times. With each fold, imagine yourself letting go.

3. Write Your Receiving List

Take the second piece of paper and your blue pen. At the top, write: "I am ready to receive..."

Now, dream. Even if it feels unfamiliar, even if your mind says this isn't possible for me. Write it anyway.

More confidence? Ease? Connection? Self-trust? Joy? You are allowed to want good things for yourself.

When you're done, fold this paper towards you three times. With each fold, imagine opening your arms to receive.

4. Burn & Release

Take your release paper to the back of your house. Safely burn it, watching the smoke rise as you visualize all those burdens dissolving. Feel the weight lifting. You do not have to carry this anymore.

Take your receiving paper to the front of your house. Burn it with gratitude, knowing that the universe has received your request. Close your eyes and let yourself feel what it would be like to receive these things. Even if you don't fully believe it yet, let yourself hope.

FAQ

"What if I don't know what to write?"

Start small. Ask yourself: What's been weighing on me lately? What do I keep wishing for? The answers will come. There is no wrong way to do this.

"Is it okay if I don't burn the paper?"

Yes! Fire is symbolic, but if it doesn't feel right, you can tear, bury, or even submerge the papers in water. The most important part is your intention.

"What if I don't feel different right away?"

That's okay. Sometimes energy shifts are subtle. Sometimes they take time. But trust that something is already shifting beneath the surface.

"What if I'm scared to let go?"

I hear you. Letting go can be hard because it means stepping into the unknown. But remind yourself: What's ahead is better than what I'm leaving behind. You are safe. You are supported.

Final Thoughts

If you've been waiting for a sign to pause, to breathe, to begin again—this is it.

The Spring Equinox reminds us that change is natural, that renewal is possible, that you are allowed to start over whenever you need to.

Whatever you release today is making space for something beautiful.

You are stepping into a new season—not just in the world around you, but within yourself.

With love,

Sian
